MEDICAL LAB TECHNICIAN
Eligibility of the Candidate:
Minimum Qualification: Matriculation with science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) 2nd Division and combined total of science subjects not less than 45%.
Age: Maximum 35 years on the last date of applying for admission.
POST SELECTION PROCEDURES
- The selected candidate must join not later than seven days of display of Selection List and issuance of Offer Letter, failing which his/her admission shall If a seat falls vacant, the next candidate on merit in that stand cancelled category will be selected.
- No candidate shall be admitted unless he/she has paid the fee and other dues.
- All dues must be paid by the due date, otherwise the admission of defaulting students will be cancelled and next candidate on merit shall be considered for admission:
- Applicants shall be required to submit original qualification documents for verification.
- Information about each admitted student will be sent to the PMF on the prescribed proforma along with the Specified Registration Fee by 31″ December each year. Registration Number thus allocated, will be used for all future correspondence regarding the particular student.

OBJECTIVES:
- To Demonstrate complete knowledge of all simple and medium level Laboratory procedure.
- Maintenance of work records, tissue storage, stock solutions, Controls & equipment. And maintenance and use of microscope.
- Understand the importance of quality assurance and the hazards of working in Laboratory and safe disposal of laboratory waste.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures and sample handling, perform laboratory tests, blood grouping and cross matching, immunological assays by simple and automated methods.
OPERATION THEATER TECHNICIAN

OBJECTIVES:
- As prime objective of the training program is to develop practical skill, an extended clinical attachment is it essential part. The student will rotate amongst various section including different operation theaters, ICU.
- Sterilization department and his/ her attendance will be recorded on a logbook to be signed by supervisors. Teacher will ensure that students are given chance to practice activities under supervision that are relevant to the topic being taught in class in order for them to develop relevant practical skills.
- Demonstrate empathy and humane approach towards communities and exhibit interpersonal behavior in accordance with the societal norms and expectations.
- Demonstrate sufficient understanding of basic science related to the technology and be able to integrate such knowledge in his /her work.
